Heather manages several of the agency’s consumer accounts and oversees the strategic direction of the consumer practice group. With more than 20 years of experience in public relations, Heather has worked with clients ranging from one person startups, to Fortune’s Top 10. While consumer is her forte, her industry experience ranges from mobile tech, to enterprise software, cyber security, human resources, higher education, oil & gas and more. While having a new challenge every day is her favorite part of her job, she finds herself most excited about helping clients overcome market challenges through messaging and strategic media planning.
Heather works closely with her clients to brainstorm creative campaign ideas and develop integrated communications plans to reach their business goals. She oversees and executes the direction of account strategies across all program areas, including media and analyst relations, social media, company announcements, events, long-form content creation, amplification programs, design and asset creation and video production.
Prior to joining InkHouse, Heather was an independent PR consultant and has worked for several other large and small PR firms in the Boston and San Francisco Bay areas, as well as in-house for an interactive television technology start up. Her career highlights over the years include launching successful cause marketing campaigns with celebrity endorsements; planning for and executing media relations around IPOs, mergers, acquisitions and venture capital funding announcements; orchestrating multi-city media events; and providing media and presentation training for C-level executives.
Heather is a graduate of Northeastern University’s College of Journalism, where she also held a co-op position in the communications department.
