Brendan leads the healthcare practice at Inkhouse, serving as the strategic team lead for clients including health IT developers, hospital systems, insurers, medical device manufacturers, and innovative life science organizations. With a comprehensive knowledge of the vast healthcare landscape, Brendan has secured widespread media coverage for emerging therapeutic treatments and products; navigated complicated regulatory processes; amplified the national footprint of both small and large organizations; bolstered executive profiles; and guided clients through critically important high-profile crises, including COVID-19 response. He specializes in communicating details about complex healthcare problems and solutions in the form of relatable and compelling storylines. 

Prior to joining Inkhouse, Brendan served as Associate Vice President of Healthcare at Rasky Partners, a Boston-based public and government relations firm. He also served as Manager of Media Relations at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where he led media relations for one of the nation’s premier cancer centers and AIDS research organizations. Brendan launched his healthcare career as Manager of Public Affairs at Baystate Health, leading public and media relations for a 6-hospital regional health system that includes a tertiary referral center. Brendan also spent nearly seven years as an anchor and investigative reporter at WGGB-TV in Springfield, MA, following stints as a reporter at New England Cable News (Boston) and WTEN-TV in Albany, NY.

Brendan earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from Fairfield University.
